The Three R's to Dealing with Trauma in Schools: Readiness, Response, and Recovery will explore issues related to trauma, its impact on children, and implications for schools and school personnel.

After viewing the broadcast, participants will be able to: understand the importance and impact of trauma-related multi-level mental health approaches and services in schools; articulate a strategy to incorporate the mental health needs of students and staff into safe school plans; identify the types of mental health services available to meet the tier-specific needs of students, staff and communities; illustrate promising school-based models for readiness, response and recovery; and, describe elements of effective mental health models that help schools prevent and respond to trauma.
